First off, let me explain why haven’t I written anything since my first introductory post. Mainly, because I’ve been working on some very interesting things on the Internet.

I’ve been a busy Web addict, traversing the net here and there, searching for ways to make money online. Why did I just make that phrase bold? Well, because that phrase is a keyword. And search bots eat keywords for dinner. Or lunch maybe. Not sure of their eating habits.

There is so much information out there on how to improve your content that it should be a crime not to use it to your advantage. Search-Engine Optimization is essential if you want to attract organic traffic to your website. You’re probably wondering, what the heck is organic traffic? It’s just a fancy word that is often used to refer to the people that are searching for your content and actually end up finding you via the search-engines. Organic meaning natural, and not forced.

There is also Paid Traffic where you can buy ads so that people know your website exists. You’ve seen those, right? They can get pretty annoying and deceitful. Sometimes they may even just pop up out of nowhere. You can do that as well for your website. It is another way to get traffic. But of course, that involves spending money, and who wants to spend money to make money on the Internet? I certainly don’t.

So that’s what I’ve been doing. Learning new techniques and things on how to improve my content and the way I distribute it online. Oh, and I’ve joined HubPages!

If you’ve never heard of HubPages, what are you waiting for? Go check it out. HubPages lets you write for free about anything you want. It works best if you’re writing on something you know a lot about. You can add pictures, polls, ads and now even video! It is freakin’ awesome.

Well, I’ve only just started writing hubs. So far, I have 5. I’ve made a couple cents there on one account. On my second account, I’ve even reached a whole dollar! Gasp!

Haha. In order to make money using HubPages, you have to keep at it for years. And not only that, you have to be sure you’re doing it right. Like I said, you have to use the Internet to improve your content so that search-engines can actually rank you better than other websites with similar information. It is like using the Internet to beat the Internet, basically. You have to research everything BEFORE you start writing. It wouldn’t make sense to write a long article about something nobody really wants to know about, now would it?

So…that’s what I’ve been doing.
